Selected Milestones

Marcia Bianchi (b. 1992) is a Canadian artist, exploring the intricacies of growth and decay. Bianchi’s work has been published in Forbes, The Globe and Mail, and Artist Talk Magazine. She has exhibited internationally at One Art Space (Tribeca, NYC), Yellow Cube Gallery (Paris, FR), The Superfair (Brooklyn, NY), The London Underground (London, UK), The Drake Hotel (Toronto), and The Annex Hotel (Toronto) where her work was commissioned for their permanent collection.

She has completed residencies at MOCA Toronto (2022), the Berlin Art Institute (2024), and R.A.R.O. Barcelona (2025).

Her work is available through Tacit Collective, the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) gift shop, and Curate + Covet. Her practice continues to evolve as she explores mediums and muses.

 

2026 NYC Exhibit

Invoke the Muse was selected by Artist Talk Magazine to exhibit in NYC twice: digitally in Times Square, and physically at One Art Space in Tribecca from May 05 - May 10, 2026.

2025 Barcelona Residency

For the month of June, Bianchi attended an artist residency which began in Barcelona at Casa RARO and culminated in an exhibition at Yellow Cube Gallery, Paris, where she sold a piece to her first Parisienne collector.

2024 Berlin Residency

For the month of May, Bianchi attended an artist residency at the Berlin Art Institute, contemplating new ideas, expanding her skillset, and getting acquainted with the artist community in Berlin.

2025 Press

Bianchi’s solo exhibit at The Annex Hotel in Toronto on December 11, 2024 was reviewed by Camille Thalheimer in issue 36 of Artist Talk Magazine P 52-57 here. The exhibit was a celebration of the artist’s commission for the Hotel, Not There, Still Here i.

2025 NYC Art Fair

From April 24-27, 2025, Bianchi exhibited in her first art fair, Superfine, in Brooklyn, NY!

2023 Gallery 1313 Board of Directors

From July 2023 - April 2024, Bianchi sat on the Board of Directors at Gallery 1313 in Toronto. Gallery 1313 is a non-profit, artist-run centre exhibiting local, national and international contemporary art.

2023 The Drake Hotel Exhibit

Solo exhibit presented by Workflow x Tacit Collective at the Drake Hotel on May 24, 2023.

2022 MOCA Toronto Residency

For the year of 2022, Marcia attended a residency at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, where she worked out of a studio space on the 4th floor of the museum and participated in multiple Doors Open Exhibitions.

2022 AGO Gift Shop

Within less than a month, prints of Apocalypse Nude V sold out at the AGO Gift Shop. This was through a collaboration with Tacit Collective and the Art Gallery of Ontario. The restock was also later sold out.

2021 Forbes

On Oct 27, 2021, Apocalypse Nude XX was featured in Forbes, in the article, “Shop Like—The Sculpt Society Founder Megan Roup” by Kim Peiffer. Check it out here.
